RESEARCH OVERVIEW
Prof Ryan has research interests which span science education - curriculum development, design and evaluation, transversal competency acquisition - through curricular design and internship/placement oportunities.
Prof Ryan also has current research interests in novel drug delivery systems related to recurrent infection and cancer biology and maintains a research interest in treatment resistant depression - in particular how endocrinological dysfunction can contribute to the development of a "difficult to treat" phenotype.
