DrCaragh Behan

Dr Behan is a consultant psychiatrist and Senior Clinical Lecturer in Psychiatry at RCSI, roles that involve teaching, research, supervision, and clinical practice. She has been involed in HRB-funded research projects, particularly focused on mental and physical health in psychosis, and economic evaluation of early intervention in psychosis. She regularly contributes to peer-reviewed journals and conferences, and is involved in service development and evaluation, particularly in the area of health economics. She is on the editorial board of the IJPM and is a guest editor for the BMC Medical Education speciak issue on psychiatry.

Additionally, she is trained and active as a teacher in mindfulness and meditation, which only complements her clinical and educational roles.
