RESEARCH OVERVIEW

My research interests are deeply rooted in health systems and health services strengthening, with a focus on improving access to care for marginalised groups, advancing patient-centred care, and fostering sustainable innovation in low-resource settings. I am particularly drawn to the challenges that arise in complex, dynamic environments where health systems often face multiple, competing demands.

I explore these challenges through a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative, qualitative, and implementation science methods. My work includes controlled trials, systematic reviews, and observational studies, as well as using systems thinking and complexity science to understand the intricate relationships within health systems. I am passionate about bridging research with practical implementation through participatory approaches, ensuring that findings are not only useful but directly applicable to policy-making and real-world healthcare challenges.
