As Clinical Lead for the National Clinical Programme in Surgery, she led design and implementation of the Transforming Theatre Programme, an award-winning HSE programme improving access to surgical care extending nationally, recognised with a 2023 Health Service Excellence Award for Innovation in Service Delivery Health Service Excellence Award Winners 2023
The Transforming Theatre Programme was also recognised as the 2023 Best Innovative Project in Hospital Management by the European Association of Health Managers HWL Awards and EAHM Award for the best innovative project in Hospital Management – European Association of Hospital Managers
