IMPACT AND ENGAGEMENT OVERVIEW
Dr Quinn's work bridges pharmacy education, practice and policy across two healthcare systems.
Through his role at ICPI, he contributes to building pharmacy education capacity in China and to developing assessment and academic integrity standards in a transnational context.
His research on the environmental impact of antibiotic prescribing supports more sustainable medicines use, and is actively involved in several projects connecting his research to national healthcare priorities.
His biomaterials research addressed medical device-associated infection, a significant burden on patients and healthcare systems.
As a science communicator, he won the Queen's University Belfast Three Minute Thesis grand final in 2022.
