IMPACT AND ENGAGEMENT OVERVIEW
Dr Mairghani's research seeks to improve population health through evidence-informed policy and practice. Her work has contributed to WHO initiatives, national health programmes and local authority policy development. Current research includes evaluating interventions to reduce the health effects of air pollution, developing urban health indicators for Ireland and contributing to the WHO Global Diabetes Monitoring Framework. Her work places a strong emphasis on prevention, health equity and sustainable healthcare.
