I am a highly committed healthcare professional and university executive with experience of working at the highest levels in the health services and in academia in the areas of management, research, education, change and improvement. I have a track record of strategy development and implementation together with the delivery of large change projects in complex organisations. i have a proven ability to be innovative and in influencing others to deliver transformational change and growth. A structured approach to planning specific tasks in complex roles and evaluating and implementing progress has been instrumental in my success to date. My particular strengths are in building and leading teams, creating strategic partnerships, and using hard evidence to translate ideas into projects and programmes of work. I have experience of strong stakeholder engagement in healthcare, education and research environments. I am experienced in the demands of good governance which is required to deliver large-scale, funded programmes and projects, having served in both executive and non-executive board positions.
