IMPACT AND ENGAGEMENT OVERVIEW

Dr Nikolas Aristokleous’ research aims to transform healthcare through the integration of artificial intelligence, digital twins, and simulation-based technologies into clinical practice. His work focuses on developing patient-specific computational models that enable clinicians to better understand disease progression, optimise treatment strategies, and improve patient outcomes. Through advances in Simulation-Based Imaging for Improving Cardiovascular Patient Treatment, he seeks to bridge the gap between medical imaging and predictive modelling, providing clinicians with actionable insights for diagnosis, intervention planning, and therapy assessment.

His research contributes to the emerging field of computational medicine by accelerating the development of safer and more effective medical devices, reducing reliance on costly and time-consuming experimental studies, and supporting the adoption of in silico methods in healthcare. By combining engineering, data science, and clinical expertise, Dr Aristokleous aims to advance personalised medicine and establish trustworthy, clinically relevant digital twin technologies that improve healthcare delivery and patient care.
