ProfTracy Robson

Professor Tracy Robson is Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, leading RCSI’s academic community in delivering a transformative and innovative education that prepares its students to make a difference for patients worldwide. 

RCSI has a particular focus on addressing healthcare workforce demands through the development of a highly skilled workforce that can meet the evolving needs of a growing and ageing population.

Professor Robson has exemplified this with a strong record of accomplishment in supervision and mentoring, impacting significantly on the education and training of young researchers who have moved seamlessly between academia and the pharmaceutical industry. She won the QUB inaugural Post Graduate Research Supervisory Excellence Award, QUB in 2015, for outstanding PhD supervision having supervised 37 PhD students who successfully completed within 4 years .

In addition to this, there have been 10 MSc students who have successfully completed, numerous Post-doctoral staff supervised, 9 of whom have been recruited to academic lectureship positions, two promoted to Full Professor, three to Associate Professor and another 3 recruited to senior group leader positions in the pharma industry.
