PRiCAN's research informs cancer research and screening policy in Ireland, including work commissioned by national health agencies. Through EC-LuC, Patrick contributes to European recommendations and a quality assurance framework intended to guide lung cancer screening and care across member states. ARQ and CRADLE are designed as lasting infrastructure, so that Irish general practice can host prospective studies and longitudinal data research. Through TRACES and Ca-PRI, the group supports international secondments for early-career researchers and links Irish primary care research with partner groups in Europe and beyond.
