TEACHING AND SUPERVISION OVERVIEW
Siobhan has extensive experience in the delivery of quality and safety education. She leads the design and delivery of curriculum for the MSc Quality and Safety in Healthcare Management, an international online MSc programme.
As a QI expert, Siobhan leads the incorporation of simulation based activities and liberating structures methodologies onto educational programmes to foster creativity and leadership capital., among scholars who are change agents in their own fields.
Siobhan facilitates action learning and supervises MSc theses in organisational development and quality improvement across a global cohort of students.
As co-lead, Siobhan has designed and delivered Simulation Based After Action Review Training on behalf of the HSE between 2018 and 2021. From inception, Siobhan led the initiative for this innovative patient safety intervention and implementation strategy to be tested as part of a research study through to the dissemination of study outcomes.
Siobhan has designed and delivered a blended quality and safety module for large cohorts on the RCSI Masters in Pharmacy. She has also led a large collaborative group in the development of an RCSI/RCPI Online Patient Safety Programme for Doctors.
